"There is a land where our identites, social and gender roles are no longer clearly defined and our habits are shattered: drittland. Those transformations are painful for all of us… but sometimes amusing, too. At the end awaits freedom. That's where elfish echo … pushes us with the quiet and well dosed tones of "bäume & sträucher". An exquisite selection of sounds, crisp and light rather than dark. Wonderful woody-organic pluckings of the shamisen … Then suddenly bass, abyssal and velvet - just lulling the listener enough to provoke bodily reactions and the wish for dance-music and LIFE - which, of course, is immediately rejected, and we're happy to switch back into meditation … Construction rather than deconstruction. Always light-footed and tidied up, open, while at the same time distinguished and disciplined even when improvising. Without bass drum - skeletal rhythm. Dry. Dry, deadly serious humour. To me, this is aural art."

this cd captures the sound and idiosyncrasies of a new and unique synthesizer called Resonator Neuronium. though analog and digital effects, loopers and processors were used, the only sound source as such is the Resonator.
